Life on Denyer's farm

There are a lot of things to do on Peter Denyer's farm. Every day is a big day! Peter (6) gets up at 5.30 a.m., and then he goes to see the animals. He visits the chickens and get their (7) eggs. Sometimes he has them for breakfast!

He has a (8) cow called Susie who lives on the land and eats grass. He uses Susie for milk. There are also lots of ducks on the farm and they live on the (9) lake. The farm is big, so Peter normally (10) goes to different places to see the animals. It is good exercise.

He takes his dog everywhere with him. He usually finishes work at 8 p.m., and then does everything again the next day. It is a difficult job, but Peter likes it. His day starts so early, he usually (11) runs to bed at 10 p.m.
