I AM ANN My first name is Ann. My surname is Ivanova. I am a schoolgirl. I am fifteen. My father is a tall and strong man of forty-one. He comes from Altai. My mother is a teacher of music at a secondary school. My little sister Kate is a pretty girl with light hair and blue eyes. My elder brother Pete studies at Novosibirsk State University. My grandfather and grandmother live in a small town not far away. They are both pensioners. We live in a new flat on the second floor of a 9-storeyed block of flats. It has all modern conveniences. There are four rooms (a sitting-room, a dining room, two bedrooms), a kitchen, a toilet, a hall and a bathroom. Our rooms are not large but they are rather cosy and comfortable. The windows face a garden in front of the house. I get up at 7 a.m. every morning because my classes begin at 8.30. and I do not want to be late for them. As soon as I get up I do morning jerks, wash my face and have breakfast. I don't make breakfast myself. My mother makes it for me. For brakfast I usually have a cup of tea with cheese sandwiches. I often have scrambled eggs too. Then I go to scool. It takes me 15 minutes to get to school by bus or 30 minutes on foot. I have 5 or 6 lessons every day. I do not go to school on Saturdays and Sundays. After lessons I have my dinner. Then after a short rest I do my lessons. In the evening I like to play the piano or play with my computer, to read a newspaper, to play chess on my computer, to watch videos. I always go to bed at 10 o'clock.
