LEONARDO DA VINCI (1452–1519)
Was (be) an outstanding man. He worked (work) as an architect, painter, mathematician and scientist. He also worked (work) as a military engineer and was (be) a good musician. When he was a child, Leonardo liked (like) school but he hated (hate) Latin.
In 1466, Leonardo's family moved (move) to Florence and he finished (finish) school. In 1482, he moved (move) to Milan and started (start) to work for the Duke of Milan. He designed (design) many buildings for the Duke. He also studied (study) mathematics. His drawing of the Anatomy of a Man showed (show) him to be a great biologist. In 1502, he returned (return) to Florence and painted (paint) the Mona Lisa. From 1514 to 1516, he lived (live) in Rome and continued (continue) his scientific experiments. He died (die) in France in 1519.
