a) The city sounds are heavy traffic, car horns and constant noise. I can see crowded streets and tall buildings, and I can smell pollution. They make me feel stressed and worried. In the countryside, I can see beautiful landscapes, smell fresh air and hear birds singing. These sounds make me feel relaxed, free and happy.

b) Peace and quiet and fresh air are very important to me. I don’t mind living far from shops, cinemas and theatres, but I can’t stand crowded streets, heavy traffic and constant noise and pollution. I like friendly, helpful people and beautiful landscapes. I think I’m a country mouse because I prefer a high-quality lifestyle in the countryside. However, convenient public transport and a low rate of unemployment are advantages of city life.
